Beware of Frank Haywood!

I have not written a post about Mr. Haywood for quite a while because I thought he had “cleaned up his act” so to speak. But alas, I was mistaken.

For those of you who have dealth with Frank Haywood (frankhaywood.com) and purchased his products you were likely to receive your products weeks or months later or sometimes not at all. You also have likely experienced his almost laughable response time to technical support questions. I say laughable but it is sad.

This post will be about actual experiences I have had with Mr. Haywood so that will eliminate any claims by him that other customers have exxagerated things or misrepresented the facts. The following is FIRST HAND experience with Frank Haywood:

Several years ago I purchased a product that was supposed to be accompanied by one of Frank Haywoods products. His product never came. He gave excuses for a few e-mails and finally never responded again. It has been several years and I am still waiting for a $100 product.

I joined his membership site and every month the products arrived late or not at all. Documentation was lacking, excfuses always made, but rarely did anything arrive on schedule. I quit the membership site.

Now Frank has a new “wrinkle” that he added to his arsenal. His “pre-sales” are sales for products that are not finished yet. You get a special price and then you wait. The last one I purchased was over two months ago and I am still waiting.

His excuses always involve someone else. His Nigerian or Phillipine programmer got the flu. Another phillapino programmer got another job. this one quit, that one left, another one got sick. It is always something.

If Frank Haywood had an actual brick and mortar business in your hometown, you would likely report it to the Better Business Bureau or consumer affiars. But when you buy on-line, you do not have much of a recourse.

So I use my sites like this to make people aware of people who act the way Frank Haywood does. I warn them that if they buy his products, they will likely encounter the same treatment. If they buy anyway, then so be it. This is a free world. But buying when you know you stand a great chance of being mistreated is one thing. Buying unaware is another totally different thing.

I could go on and on about the nonsense Frank Haywood subjects his customers to but I think this post is sufficient in what it intended to deliver. It’s just a shame that other good and reputable Internet Businesses have to be subjected to scurtiny because of people like Frank Haywood.
