Adsense makes NO Sense!
Do you see any Adsense Ads on this blog? Go ahead and look around. You wont see a single Adsense ad!
Why?
Because Adsense makes no sense for just about everyone! Think about it for a minute. You place ads on your site and you only get paid when someone clicks on them and then you make a few pennies, maybe a quarter. If a sales is made you dont see a penny of commission, either!
Most experienced Internet marketers agree with us that you are much better off selling commission based products and not adsense ads. They just dont pay enough to make it worthwhile.
But there is even a greater reason to run, not walk away, from Adsense!
The Google Slap and banning of accounts!
It is absolutely amazing that Google actually gets away with this and does not have the government on their butt for unfair practices! Here is what Google does, and does very, very often.
You open up an Adsense account and palce ads on your website. You increase traffic and start to see increased traffic and increased clicks on your adsense ads. You see money starting to come into your account and you are pleased.
Then, one day, your account is gone! Google send you a message stating your account has been banned. they dont give you a reason why it was banned only that you are banned and all your earnings forfeited! No reason, no proof, just an arbitrary decision and you lose your money!
That has happened to us in the past and also to many others as well. Just do a search on this behavior and you will see a lot of stroeis about people cheated by Google in this and other ways.
You are far better off picking products that are directly relevant to the theme of your site and which provide a great value to your viewers. Adsense does not give you that much control and you lose money, and visitors because of it.
Pick a commissioned product that is relevant, market it effectively, and keep control over your site and your money.
As I said, Adsense makes no sense for anyone!

The “Complaint” You Will Never Hear!
Once you open for business, you will be subject to customer complaints of all shapes and sizes. “I don’t like this color”, “This was supposed to fit perfectly but I can see little gaps!”, and other comments. some will be valid and some will be absolutely ridiculous. But you have to address them all and you really need to do it with a smile on your face!
But there is one complaint you really never hear and that should indicate one of the msot important aspects of running your busness. That complaint is:
“You gave me too much!”
If you give your customer MORE than they purchase or expect, you will not get any complaints but chances are, your customer will be very pleased and satisfied with his or her purchase. People have a certain expectation whenever they purchase something and when you give them more, they are suprised and pleased. Doneright, this can give you a customer for life and a lot of referrals as well.
There are a ot of businesses out there who provide the bare minimum to their customers and run like crazy once they have your money. so many of these businesses exist that many people actually expect this kind of treatment and are suprised, even shocked, when someone gives them more than what they purchase! This “shock” creates a powerful image in the mind of your customer and may even result in a strong bond with your business that results in a lifetime of purchases!
We have all bought products that resulted in disappointment. We have all been the victim of over hyped promises and exaggerated claims all designed to get us to purchase. But once we made that purchase, the result is disappointment once reality sets in. At that point, we will likely not buy that product or from that business again.
That’s something to think about isn’t it?
Giving people more than what they purchase accomplishes several things at one time. first, it provides more value to the purchase and that alone might give you the business instead of your competition. Second, it shows that you value the business of your customer and have a genuine desire to do provide the best value you possibly can for them. Last, but certainly not least, it shows that not only do you value your customer but that you appreciate their business!
In today’s business environment, competition is higher than ever before. Businesses of all shapes and sizes are competing for each sale and every customer. Every business is looking for an edge.
Don’t go for gimmicks to lure customers in and disappoint them. go for something real that your customers will appreciate. Give them more than what they expect. You will be suprised what that will do for your business!

Your Credibility & Your Business
Here is another way my “old pal” Frank haywood has failed his customers most recently. Yes, It seems Frank is still up to his old tricks, or as he likes to say, his way of doing business.
Perception is everything in life and once you lose your credibility you run an excellent chance of having your business fall apart or at least be severely damaged. Let’s see what Frank and We’re Bazaar has done now.
You will recall that we have talked about Frank Haywood and We’re Bazaar several times in the past because his business represents so much about what is wrong about Internet business today. In fact, if he ran a storefront business like he does his internet business, he would be out of business!
He now runs a membership site called PLRCodeMine which sells internet software products to its members. They can resell this software and brand it as there own. (Why they would want to is beyond me because the stuff just is not top drawer stuff!)
This site was introduced in Jan of this year and almost every product was delivered late. Weeks late, infact, long after membership had been paid for. He always had an excuse. he was sick, someone left the company with all the code. People disappeared, you name the excuse and he has used it.
His latest mistake was promising a free product to his members and then claiming it was not ready to be given free. Yet this was the same product he had been selling for a fee for well over a month! Magically, this product was not available until the members paid their next months dues and then: “WOW!” it became available! Imagine the coincidence! Pay and extra months membeship and you get it!
He still has not delivered other so called “Bonuses” which were promised months ago. Therein lies the problem for Frank haywood and We’re Bazaar.
Why would anyone believe anything Frank Haywood says in the future?
Why would anyone who had purchased a product that Frank Haywood no longer provides support response for buy another of his products?
Why would anyone who joined Franks haywoods membership site, PLRCodeMine, remain a member when every product is late and they are some little WordPress Plug-in with little or no real value?
The answer is they likely won’t and that is where your business comes in. If you choose to take the same route as Frank haywood and We’re Bazaar, you will lose credibility and customers. it costs a lot of get new customers and that cost comes out of your profits and expenses.
Tactics and behavior like those of Frank Haywood result is customer ditrust, like of loyaly, customer dissatisfaction, and loss of credibility. Once you lose your credibility you lose your ability to gain the trust of your customer.
After all, why should a customer believe you when you fail to meet deadlines, fail to deliver on promises, and fail to deliver products promised or paid for? The short answer is that customers will immeditely distrust you and it will take many positive experiences before you will trust that person or business again.
When you run an Internet busness, or any business where people cannot walk in and personally see you or touch the products, your credibility is the single most important aspect of your business.
Don’t mess with it or poeple will leave your business like I left Frank Haywood and We’re Bazaar. Come to think of it, Frank haywood’s business name is a very appropriate one because they way he does business is very bazaar……………

An Important Test For The Health of Your Business!
OK, I can hear the comments coming already but just stop and think about this for a minute. We all know how important it is for us to keep in good health. A colonoscopy is just one of the recommended tests to help us find problems early and address them before they become serious and life threatening.
Shouldn’t we do this for our business as well????
I used the colonoscopy test as an example because that test “looks at us” from the inside out. Which is exactly what we need to do in our business! We need to take a look at everything in our business from the inside out and figure out how to make it better and more customer friendly.
We already know that our customers desire everything to run smoothly and without problems. That is a natural expectation and one that we must strive to live up to. customers as a rule do not care about your problems, procedures, or even the health of your business. their primary focus is on them and their purchases.
So, if we take the time to look into every part of our business, contact our customers to find out their opinions and suggestions, and take steps to streamline processes and make things more efficient, it helps everyone. A typical win-win situation so to speak.
We want to make things better and easier and more profitable. Our customers want things easier and more enjoyable. What worked yesterday probably won’t work tomorrow so we need to constantly inspect our business and make changes to keep it current. If we can do that on a regular basis, everyone winds.
So schedule that business colonoscopy today and make the effort to keep you and your business healthy and growing both now and in the future.

Something Frank Haywood and I Agree About!
Much negative stuff has been written about Frank Haywood and his company We’re Bazaar in this blog because this blog is all about running and Internet Business and what you should and should not do. lately, Frank Haywood and We’re Bazaar have been the examples of what not to do. But Frank haywood has made a post in his blog that we agree with 100%. that is the value of hiring quality people for your business.
Frank Haywood and We’re Bazaar have done a lot of things wrong from failure to deliver products purchased to non support to ignoring customer inquiries and delivering promised products late. This is not an opinion but rather the results of personal experiences with Frank Haywood and We’re Bazaar. But now, Frank Haywood is telling us that was because he hired the wrong people to do these tasks and that is the reason for his problems.
Frank Haywood even admits these people have caused damage to his business and reputation. And that is precisely why you need to have the right people and procedures in place from the start and monitor your business every step of the way.
Frank Haywood is 100% right when he says that no one person can do everything right or be an expert on every aspect of operating an internet business. But he is also 100% right in the fact that when people do ot do their jobs, it is the business and it’s owner who suffers, not that individual.
Let’s say your business, Acme Widgits hires Herb Gowillowitz to be in charge of product delivery and customer support. All Acme’s customers see is that they are not getting the support they need or their products delivered if herb is not doing his job. they don’t even kow who Herb is or what he is supposed to be doing. All they know is that they are not getting what they feel they are entitled to. So Acme gets the bad reputation not Herb.
Is this the problem with Frank Haywood and We’re Bazaar? It could be although I really have my doubts because this has been going on for at least 2 years and probably longer. Which means that even if Frank Haywood hired the wrong person or people, he was not monitoring the business as he should. Frank Haywoods blog posts center on quick profitability and other money oriented things and little on customer satisfaction so we remain suspect. When he says it is alright to deliver flawed products in order to get them out fast, that concerns us.
But he is right about hiring quality people. But even if you do hire the very best and brightest, it is the responsibility of the business owner to monitor their performance and effectiveness because it is the business, and not the individual, who will bear the damage long term.
Just ask Frank Haywood and We’re Bazaar. They realize this first hand. Now let’s see if they actually do anything about it!

A Valuable Business & Life Tip!
I attended a graduation ceremony at Boston College yesterday to watch my niece graduate. It was a hot day but the ceremony was very nice. What I really appreciated was the tone and message of the entire proceeding.
It was in stark contrast to almost everything we see in the world today.
In the remarks from the various speakers, one fundamental value was stressed throughout all speeches. That value was to do something good with your life and career and that success is not measured by money or fame but rather how you helped make this world a better place.
No I am not saying that money is not important. Money provides us with more that possessions, it supplies us with choices and options. The more money we have the more choices and options we have. We have no problem with that.
The problem lies when people start believing that money is the sole driving force in the universe and that money should be first and foremost on our minds and efforts.
How often do we see greed, cheating, and averice in the world today? How many people are hurt by the actions of greedy companies and CEO’s whose sole motivation is to increase the bottom line and individual compensation regardless of who suffers or gets hurt?
How many politicians take actions based on greed or personal survival at the expense of the very people who voted for them and elected them? How many decisions are based not on what is right or wrong but by how much money was contributed or how big a bribe or kickback is going to be made?
People who try to play by the rules and do the right thing today often find themselves at a severe disadvantage. That is just plain wrong. At this ceremony I looked down on over 2,000 people and wondered how many of them would start off trying to do the right thing and just get discouraged and relent to the “business as usual” mindset of todays environment.
The problem is that change requires effort, sacrifice and more than a few people with the right ideals and values. those people are out there but the sytem and prevailing attitude does their best to push them back and keep them down.
I’m hoping in those 2,000 graduates there are a few people who refuse to allow that to happen. Because if you take afew from that university and add them to a few at other universites like them, we just might have a chance.
Let’s hope the future finds them successful…………….

To MLM or Not MLM……..
For someone new to Internet Business, or someonelooking to earn some money without all the hassles of finding products and creating websites, Multi Level Marketing might seem to be the ideal answer. You have a ready made set of products, pre-created web sites, and a ton of promotion materials all at your beck and call.
Then why do most people fail to make money??????
First of all, in order to be absolutely fiar, we will be up front and say that we do not like Multi Level marketing. This is based on sound business principles but mostly from our own experience. Here is why we feel the way we do:
Many years ago I received an e-mail about something called the DHS club. DHS was, and I believe still is, a multilevel marketing business which generates income by bringing others into their system. While we had some success, we also learned very quickly why many of these programs simply should not be trusted.
First, MLM is illegal in it’s most basic form. In fact, DHS has taken extreme steps to “hide” their true business model from the government in fear of sanctions and lawsuits. You cannot operate a business where you generate money bring others into the same system in order to bring more people in. this is a pyramid scheme and it is illegal.
Second, there are rules in these systems and they are usually structured so they strongly favor management and not the entry level person.
Third, for those above you to earn more money you have to either bring more people in or you yourself need to get paid less. This is a huge conflict of interest. In our case, those above us in DHS restructured our existing network, which we built, in order to destroy our commissions while increasing theirs. We quit after that.
Fourth, and this is a big one, there are so many people attempting to sell the same products or services that it is almost impossible to build a solid business because there are just too many people selling out there.
Lastly, and this is a big one, most MLM businesses do not care about you unless you are a big hitter and a huge provider of new members. When I started at DHS I brought in more members than almost everyone in my team and I was treated great until those members dried up and then my network was reconfigured and I was, to put it bluntly but accurately, screwed.
With MLM you are not incontrol over your customers or your business. When you leave you cannot take your members with you or cultivate that relationship. You leave but those you brought in stay. The time, effort, and money you spent getting all those members is now lost and others reap the benefits!
Trust me, there are more pitfalls than benefits to MLM and I strongly suggest you take the time and effort in locating a good product and build your own business where you get the income and the credit and not a bunch of people that have nobodies interest in mind but their own.

Let’s Talk About Back-Ups!
If you read the last post, you will see that sometimes things happen for any number of reasons. In our case, someone who didnt particularly like something written here decided to do something underhanded about it! We think that is what happened because of all the sites we own and operate, only two which had some similar comments were targeted and everything else was left alone.
Whoever it was did not appreciate honesty it appears!
But it did give us an idea for our next post and it is something important to anyone who runs a website or Internet business. That is the importnce of back-ups.
Yesterday when we had our “problem” we contacted our webhost to see what caused the problem and then we went into our files, selected the backup of the site that we had and reloaded it. Took a few minutes and we were back in operation! A little inconvenience but not much else.
But if we did not have a backup, all our information would be lost and some of it would not be able to be recovered. Long lists of posts, download information, scripts that were installed, and everything else would have to be painstaking recreated. A task that sometimes is just not possible.
So, make it a habit to back up your web site at least once a week. Definately after major changes as well. It is easy to do. If you have Cpanel, you can do it right from your control panel and download the file to your hard drive like we did.
Then when you have a problem, you can just restore your site to it’s previous state and lose very little information and save a ton of time.
It is also important to have a webhost that is responsive and has good support. Ours handled the problem very quickly and is taking steps to determine where the problem originated and take action against whomever did this. Maybe it was just a tech issue, maybe not. But they are going to find out and take appropriate action. That’s important to reduce or eliminate the same thing happening in the future.
The world is full of people who take pleasure out of detroying others peoples work or products. We cannot eliminate them but we can try and make it more difficult for them. Maybe that will make them look elsehwere for their next victim. Who knows. In any case, back up your site regularly and it might even be a good idea to change your passwords a couple of times a year just to keep everyone a little off balance when it comes to accessing your site and your information.
Somebody Doesn’t Like Us!!!
I guess someone has taken issue with some of the comments on this blog because sometime last night all the databases for my site were victims of some kind of hack or something.
So, if you see any kind of disruption, that is the cause. My web host is looking into this and hopefully will find out who was responsible. We will continue to talk about everything honestly and point out those who do not do what is right and victimize people in the process.
Oh, well. Thanks for your patiences. We will be starting the rebuilding soon!

Just Say “NO!” To PLRCodeMine!!!
W hile back I foolishly recommended something called PLRCodeMine because I actualy believed the creator, Frank Haywood when he said this was going to be something special. And if done right, I guess it could have been.
If you purchased a subscription to PLRCodeMine, I apologize. We did not earn any commission on recommending it or receive any benefit whatsoever for promoting it. We honestly thought it was going to be great. So please, accept our apologies.
You see Frank Haywood took a great idea and really screwed it all up. Delivered most products late, the products themselves were cheap, almost always WordPress Plug-Ins and not actual “full fledged, stand alone” products that everyone could use.
Frank Haywood also promised a slew of extra’s that never materialized. Promises of free products never materialized, free graphics went undelivered, and generally the whole program left a whole lot to be desired.
Now, to be fair, Frank haywood opened PLRCodeMine and plainly stated this was a “beta” release. Which usually means the software used and the program bugs were going to be identified and addressed. What Frank Haywood means by “beta” is not providing products on time, not providing products that actually have value to the masses, and mot following through on what he has promised.
Frank Haywood might feel that I have something personal against him and so might readers of this blog because of the numerous postings about Frank haywood and his business We’re Bazaar. On the surface, it appears that this might be true.
But let me say the ONLY thing I have against Frank Haywood and We’re Bazaar is the way they have treated me and my purchases over the last few years. This is NOT a personal vendetta but rather my way of making sure that others know the REAL Frank Haywood and how he conducts business.
PLRCodeMine is just the latest of Frank Haywood products designed to pay him fees and income at the expense of those foolish enough to believe that he will actually deliver on his promises. I know this because he has failed miserably time after time with us and now PLRCodeMine continues that trend.
I cancelled my subscription today because he prmised members something he has been selling for over 3 weeks but is telling his members that it is not ready for free distribution quite yet. So what he is saying is that he will sell something that is not ready for use or that he is waiting for members to shell out another months fees before we get our free product.
Monthly Business Builder is all about providing accurate information and furthering the cause of great customer service. Frank haywood and We’re Bazaar, by conducting business they way they do, makes it harder for every business owner looking to grow or start a new business. Whenever someone buys something online and does not get what they pay for, or does not get support or assistance, we all suffer.
Frank Haywood does not support his products after he is done promoting them. This is not a statement, it is a fact. Our last 3 support requests went unanswered for months and then were erased or deleted!
Frank haywood also does not post anything negative on his blog or site, just rave reviews. If it were not for blogs like this, and other sites giving the “other side” unsuspecting people would continue to purchase Frank haywood products and then not be able to use them in the furure just like we did. right now we have a $50 peice of software that we had used in our business that will no longer work and Frank Haywood, or his support staff, refuse to support. They just delete requests.
Yet, PLRCodeMine boasts his program is the only one that supports the products he sells. Rubbish!!!
Run, don’t walk from PLRCodeMine. Save your money, save your aggravation, and save yourself from disappointment and stress. It is just not worth it.
